Any news on David Marshall?
"It's the same situation. It’s gone very quiet.
"He's our number one but we will see how Simon (Moore) goes. Competition is healthy.
"We will pick team to win a match. If no deal done he will be happy to stay, he is training really well."
Team news for QPR
"I was looking for players to push for a place and there were a couple of good performances.
"It creates a problem, but they are nice problems. Craig Noone is one, he has done great and responded well after not starting against Fulham.
"I am giving nothing away, but it was a terrific response.
"He has scored two goals in two games and has made his mark.
"Simon Moore will be on the team sheet tomorrow at QPR
"We have no major injuries, Manga making progress, Macheda doing well, Turner on more of a long term programme. He's 7-8 weeks away."
Slade on Kenwyne Jones...
"Kenwyne Jones played 25 minutes against Wimbledon and that was great.
"He had a calf strain, but is okay now and it's great to have him back in the group. We know how strong he is in both boxes. He's phenomenally strong.
"There are few better than KJ in the Championship in the opposing box. Kenwyne is closer to full fitness."

"They have an incredible squad, 16 of them were in the Premier League last season.

"I want to add to what we have. That doesn’t necessarily means others must go, but any monies coming in would help.
"I would prefer the transfer window to stop when the season starts - you could lose players at end of August and be left trying to bring others in."

"By his own admission he is getting stronger but still knows he has to be stronger.

"When he is firing he is the best striker in this league . He is a handful. He’s back, he’s happy and hopefully he will get a chance soon.
"He is quite a laid back person, I have played against him and he’s a handful.

Who is a gambler on here? what's the odds on Slade playing Whittingham, Gunnerson and Revell in his starting 11 tomorrow?

unless injury, i see no reason for gunnarsson to be playing
