Off topic Police Charge.

Parked on Zig Zags, I know I know!!! Shouldn't have and I accept that and the charge.

Fixed Pen 3pts and £100

Officer has declared on charge sheet however a different offence.
What would you do?
I asked to traffic officers this evening who told me I could contest it.

Again what would you do?

if i were you i'd remove the picture what with ID fraud and so on.

I don't deny the guilty but I disagree with the offence charged.

He's charged me for being parked in a high street on a zebra crossing.
On that street there is no Zebra Crossing.

It's your right to appeal against the ticket, but be careful because if you have your day in court and lose you could end up being a lot more out of pocket than you would be if you paid the original fine.

Lot of these types of things get thrown out of court due to clerical errors. speeding tickets, parking fines ect, i think have got to be written down bang on if they are to be successfuly prosecuted. Probably worth having chat with a solicitor and see what he thinks. He might advice you to take it to. Court, due to the fact the copper has made a total fukup on the ticket

Spoke with a traffic cop and he said the charges are null and void because the description of the offence is inaccurate to the road. There is not a Zebra Crossing on that particular road therefore I could've not been charged with that offence.
