I'd like to see Tommy O' Sullivan given a chance. He's had a loan spell last season so was hoping he'd push on this season obviously our Russ doesn't seem to want to give our youngsters a chance. At least Ole was giving our youngsters a taste in the cup games last season, all that seemed have stopped now the bald wonder is in charge.

Given we've got 5 players who have all played Premiership football in the middle then a lad who struggled to be selected when he was at Port Vale 6 months ago is going to have to be very special in training or reserve games to get a look in.
Better off get him out on loan.
Newport are desperate for help, we should be working with them to develop our youngsters and help them stay up.

I loved Koumas, Ledley and McPhail whilst they were here though

I know he was only on loan, but Gary O'Neil was outstanding when he was here

And to give you another clue it was Ralls who was the above average Championship player mentioned, and he's certainly very creative. However, he can't be expected to carry all the responsibility alone. That's why I believe we desperately need a class midfield general to come in

Yes you are right in fairness. He's been a very good servant for several years but I don't think we've ever had anything near the level of Koumas and Ramsey. Both, sadky, left us too soon!

I got all of them spot on Phil Ralls is still raw but he will be a very good creative player very soon, not quite there yet and certainly not in the Whitts mould when played correctly
Gunnar is not good enough for me and definitely not consistent enough but I wouldn't sell him as he is a very good squad player, so in all I would play Whitts, Ralls, Diko and Pilks and or Noone in midfield. We could do with that box to box midfielder though to push the others We will never agree on Whitts and that's fine but he don't deserve all the criticism he gets, Malky ruined him and that's a fact

I didn't ever think we'd agree on this one Steve but I also don't agree on two other things. I'm not sure Whittingham gets much criticism, actually more adulation, however, he does get critique which is always welcome in any circumstance. I also can't agree about you Malky comment. Malky made much bigger errors than whst you mentioned, including sabotaging our Premier season by including too many substandard players in his Premiership squad. A recipe for disaster. However, look on the
bright side; we definitely agree on Revell and Slade: As Meatloaf would say "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad"
