STAN QPR

Always something happening with our clubs, never a dull moment, although that's not strictly true given some of our performances over the last few months! What is your take on the game this weekend. I know it's early in the season but always enjoy your take on the game. Cheers mate. :thumbright:

Hell mate. Hope all is good in sunny Wales :)

Well I will say I fancy this game to be a cracker. Reason I say that is, firstly we rarely have a bad game between us. I can't think of a boring one. Always something riding on it or it turns out to be a goal fest.

I think all the pressure is on QPR after losing our first game, and being at home too. The thought of two straight losses will have the natives very anxious I must say. Most fans if you believe message board polls, didn't want Chris Ramsey & don't think he's the right man for the job. Me personally I think he's exactly what we need. Low profile, football minded & not into the big names. He's all about youth & giving youngsters an opportunity. You see lads our fans have gone very spoilt & expect us to keep signing all these so called 'stars' whereas I couldn't think of anything worse. Ramsey with Les Ferdinand above him will return us to boring normality which I'm more than happy with. Two stable seasons in the championship & if we're up to it, make a push for the Premier league PREPARED, not like the other two occasions. I hated every minute of it. Well apart from beating the scum home and away :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Who should we view as Cardiff's danger man this season? For us I'm not sure. You know all about JET, who's had a good pre season & scored in Tuesday at Yeovil. We also have a new German striker called Christian Polter who's big and strong and just finding his feet. Lingo from Swindon is looking very tidy & Jamie Mackie is just a workhorse.

I hear you've around 1,000 coming down? Used to double that from you boys but on sky, late kick off its a good number.

Have a safe journey & make loads of noise as usual. I love the games between us, always been a spiky affair, but feels like a proper match up if that makes sense.

Heart says 2-0 QPR

Head says 1-1

Cheers Stan, as always open and honest. I think you might be right about it being a spiky affair, our games often are.Be very surprised if it ends 0-0.I think we will be bringing about 1000 to 1100,should be a good atmosphere.Craig Noone and Joe Mason have started the season well but we lack pace up front. My head says 2-2 but I fancy us to win 2-1.Should be a good day out whatever happens. Good luck for the rest of the season mate. :bluebird:

Loftus Road is a bear pit, pure 100% old football ,went there with Spurs in the 1970's and 1980's when I lived in London pure theatre.I always used to say never mind Upton Park or The Den always wary there !!!Besides always had a soft spot for QPR
should have won the title in 1976 !!!!!!

Well said son!

Allowing the Mickey mousers to play days after our last game was a joke. Loftus Rd is a shit hole, but it's our shit hole :D

Be gutted when we finally move onto a soulless bowl

You too bud. I think we'll finish around 10th. I'm happy with that. All about stabilizing for me.

It sounds like you want what the sensible cardiff fans want. A few seasons of gaining some stability then hopefully in a few seasons push on. But as you've possibly already gathered a lot of our fans believe we should be signing every player out there and just chucking money at the problem. Slade may not be everyones cup of tea but he steadied the ship last year and from what I've seen so far we have improved and are playing much better, lets see if we can keep improving through out the season :sladein:

As for Saturday, I think it will be a tight affair and could honestly go either way. You have got some players that will cause us a lot of problems but I'm going with my heart and will say 2-1 City :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Apart from this weekend, Good luck for the season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sounds like us! An element of our fans don't like the manager and just want big name signings and I presume a big name manager.

I think it will be a very tough game for Cardiff and will be happy with a point.
