' RIDICULOUS/2 YOUNG CITY FANS '

2 young City fans got thrown out yesterday for standing up - shocking.

Our fans shortly after started singing " We'll stand when we want "

I saw that last night and was totally pissed off Lynsey the Head Steward and other Stewards seemed to target two youngsters and was deterimined to throw them out. Now these youngsters were not causing any problems as they were right up the back of 116 with no one behind them and were just trying to get a bit of a atmosphere going. Now I know people will say rules are rules and there is no standing in the Ninian Stand but don't forget the Club made the decision to shut the Canton and therefore there was no option to go there and stand. With this in mind the Club could have showed some leniency last night and allowed standing at the very back of the Ninian.

I actually heard the Stewards say that 'they were only following rules' if these so called rules are coming from Wayne Nash he wants to take a long hard look at himself because he is pissing a lot of ordinary fans off andis going to drive young fans (our future support) away

The club's a f*cking joke tbh, it's like a library already inside the ccs it's ok saying rules are rules but there's nobody behind them at the very back row of seats also how comes away fans stand the whole game

The Stewards told them to go back to there seat which they did for a few minutes then they went back to section 116, This is what one of them told me on facebook

I saw them being lectured and then escorted out by some old fat ugly woman. Looked like she was chewing a wasp.
She ignored all the adults standing up and concentrated on the two very young kids.

They refused to give there names they tried getting the police involved but the two called them bullies and scum, the stewards let them go then

During a season many youngsters seem to get warned or thrown out for sometimes just being to excited etc

We need an atmosphere

I think us as supporters should stand against these 'powertrip' stewards they can chuck a few out but not all the fans it's just shocking how we are getting treated were paying to get told of like we're Fu***** kids it's shocking!

Saw loads standing at back of ninian stand Tuesday so why we're just two chucked out if they were singled out as stated I would be screaming at club hierarchy about victimisation this Nash fellow appears to be right prick

I was about 5 seats away, the guy next to me heard the steward say it was because he had already been moved in the first half for banging his seat, and tried to fool the stewards by just taking his jacket off. Still not exactly a reason to be kicked out, but at least it wasn't just for standing. As has been said, everyone in that area was standing, and none of us had any problems.

I liked the suggestion the other day of, when the canton is closed, making the back few rows of the ninian 116 the standing area!

I thought the youngsters did a great job of getting an atmosphere going on Tuesday and were doing no harm at all standing in 116. They should be encouraged and thanked by the club for doing this as opposed to being told to sit down. I imagine the stewards are just carrying out the club's policy on this which for me needs addressing but the clubs aim should be to encourage and create and great atmosphere. If Wayne Nash dictates this, he needs to be steered by Ken Choo as to what the fans and club want in terms of creating a top match atmosphere & put measures into place to get it done. It's not difficult, is it?

What I didn't get is that they wouldn't let any Cardiff City fans stand, because obviously Canton was closed, but they didn't mind the Wimbledon fans standing all game? Just like they never stop the away fans standing. Yet they throw out Cardiff fans for standing?

Only once I have seen stewards trying to make people sit down in the east stand at the Liberty , it was a game against Coventry a good few years back and in they came acting hard and full of arrogance telling fans to sit down, they soon lost their arrogance though when the whole of the north East stand told them to go and get fcuked. The police were brought in to protect the stewards. Funny thing is they have never tried it again.

Me and the boys were just trying to support our club , the game is nothing without fans so being youngsters we thought its the right idea to get our fans going and to support the boys!! I found the stewards were jobsworths and targetted the young ones! I have followed city for years since my uncle sarted taking me when I was 2 , and I think its ridicolous!!!
