Can't see what the issue is here, TBH
Would Forum Members rather have to trawl to see the most recent/relevant threads/posts?
All threads/posts are a matter of personal opinion of course, but no single 'Mod/Admin' wholly decides what should be made a 'sticky and we do try to demote them once they have run their course and that will usually depend on the amount of response each gets from other Forum Members
How else would you have it done, fella?

I've never been the biggest fan of stickies but also see why they are also a good idea. Personally I think anything more than 10 is excessive, at that stage I think your losing the point of the sticky as it's half the page anyway . Personally I'd say no more than 5 at a time and agree it would male the place look tidier but up to 10 isn't to bad.

simple really. not rocket science.
First of all silly twitter rumors dont need to be stickies. Neither does a MODs personal opinion which seems to get made one all the time, neither does every single news report regardless of what its about.
You say about having to trawl the page, but thats exactly what people have to do when the most recent "normal" thread is halfway down the page.
right now there is 9, but you have this one http://cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic ... 2&t=161386 and this one http://cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic ... 2&t=161331
are either of them really needed? as neither are new information really.
just makes the place look untidy
