They were always the best supported club on the south coast until Southampton have overtaken them massively in the last few years.

Another Championship scalp and one of the favourites to go up as well.
I think Derby made a huge error in sacking McClaren and appointing Clement. McClaren took them from nowhere to near promotion and only a blip (a few injuries too) last season stopped him taking them up or to the play-offs.
Clement is not proven as a manager and could really struggle in such a competitive league.

I agree regarding Clement. Some people are just good number 2s and can't make the step up

I'm not saying he won't but I definitely think it's a gamble and I believe Derby were only up there in the first place due to McClaren's influence. He has a big job on his hands.

Watched their game on Sky last night, and the noise from them was brilliant. Great support as always from them
Their team were very good as well, if they play like that all season then they have a great chance of promotion.

Always enjoyed trips to Portsmouth, good loyal fans and always a good atmosphere when city were there. proper old ground with the houses behind the away end and that shitty industrial estate on the other side......reminds me of somewhere lol

Year proper old ground just like Ninian Park and it used to have a nice old clock until we wreaked it one away day, way, way back, I remember !!!
