It would appear that you're easily pleased, are you forgetting who we played last night, a 2nd div team, not only that a struggling one as well, surly we need to set our standards a little bit higher

The only mitigation is that it is so early in the season. I suppose there are no easy games in cup knock out matches though, think Bradford beating Chelsea last season. I wouldn't be too harsh on the players

A fabulous evening last night, the second half had a real cup tie feel. Wimbledon gave everything and had so much desire but we had enough to see them off. Could have won convincingly if we had taken advantage of a few chances right after the goal.

To those moaning, we weren't the only Championship side to have a tough time last night, even the likes of Wolves & Ipswich - play-off contenders - struggled against L2 opposition at home, and a few of our rivals were beaten as well.

All in all, a great workout for our squad and Slade might have a headache regarding Fabio, Noone and Ameobi after they all made good cases to be in the team on Saturday.

When you look at some if the other results last night, a scrappy 1-0 win is fine for me.

I won't bother posting my view of the game as you have summed up my opinion completely.

As you rightly point out our big failing ATM is not taking our chances when they present themselves.

The stats were decent:

Possession
57% to 43%

Shots
15 to 6
On target
5 to 0
Corners
11 to 5
Fouls
5 to 10

1-0 is a win, and wins are all you need.

It was a deserved, if ugly, win on a night loads of Championship teams lost to lower league opposition. Job done, move on.

Oh and the youngsters in the corner of the Ninian didn't stop singing in the second half so respect to them.
