Scored on his debut for Ipswich Town tonight in their 2-1 win over Stevenage. Another young Welsh player Cardiff City have let go a big mistake I think personally? but there we go I wish the lad all the best :-)

Totally agree. He should still be here, playing for us against Wimbledon. I know that Ben Nugent has gone now but I can't believe that we released Yorweth while hanging on to Nugent. I have never rated him one bit, Yorweth on the other hand is a very good young centre half that I have see numerous times. Instead of wasting money on lacklustre central defenders - Manga not included - we should have been given the younger players the chance. Another thing about Josh Yorweth he had all of the attributes and qualities that you would look for in a captain and if he had of stayed here and been given a fair crack of the whip, then I honestly believe that he would of become Captain of this club an he would have become a City legend. It is so frustrating see quality young players that we have not being used properly and shipped out on loan or given a free transfer. Lee Peltier is our first choice right back but after him we have nobody, yes Fabio can play there and so too can Connolly but Fabio is needed for left back cover and Connolly is a centre half not a right back. Now I'm sure Adedeji Oshilaja could have stayed here this season instead of going out on loan again and he could have fought it out with Peltier for the right back place. Oshilaja is a very good defender and he has shown excellent loyalty to Cardiff City, as he's been here since he was around 16/17 years old, he's 22/23 now and never played in a league game for City in his career. I would like to see him given more of a chance rather than going out to sign another fullback and wasting the money, as there are good enough young Cardiff players here who can do just as good a job. Oshilaja has to have something, as Dave Jones, Malky Mackay, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and now Russel Slade have all said that he is a talented player, but still they don't give these kids a chance. If Oshilaja was not good enough, you would of thought that one of the managers would have got rid of him, but none of them have as they have all seen something in him that they like. Also, at least two of those managers have given him on more than one occasion, a longer and better contract.

Give the youngsters a bloody chance for feck sake. Otherwise what the hell is the point of us having U21, U18 and U16 teams, in fact what is the bloody point of us having a frigging academy. Use the f*cking thing properly!!!!! Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Why is it that everything at this pissing football club is always done the hard bloody way??? The club never learns and it never does things the correct way, whoever the hell is in charge of this club.

I'm off, I was only going to do a short reply but I went off on one and I've got myself all worked up now. Oh well, I'll go and pop a Valium and wash it down with a nice glass of diserano and coke.

Lets just say that he was on his last warning by the club

I'm not going to say exactly why he was on his last warning on here BUT if he carries on as he has done, he will ruin it all for himself.

I hope that he does knuckle down at Ipswich now though and matures into a quality defender. I know that his girlfriend has now moved to Ipswich with him so hopefully when he grows up a bit, he will prove to be an excellent signing for Ipswich and a full Welsh international.

Oh and it's Josh... Not Joss

I will back you up on this . I have been told by people from within the club that his behaviour was unacceptable and not what you would expect from a player We have seen other talented players go off the rails I have posted in the past that I thought this kid had the talent but maybe not the attitude Hopefully he will wake up and smell the coffee as he will not have to many chances left

Well there we go, now I can sort of understand the club not willing to hold onto a player who is not being professional. However, there have still been a few young players, that have shown real quality on and off the pitch, that have been shown the door at the club. This has to stop and if it means that we are unable to bring in any new players during a transfer window or two, then I think it would be beneficial for everybody. Who knows, we could give one of the young kids a chance and he may do so well that he becomes a regular first team starter, just like Joe Ledley when he was first introduced to first team action. Then hopefully he does so well that we can sell him for a big fee, which can then be used for both the Academy and any new players we may need. The people of Cardiff and the surrounding areas who love this club unconditionally, want to see local, homegrown and talented players pulling on the shirt and wearing it with pride. Players that are just like us, who love the club and want to see the club making progress on and off the pitch, supporters who can see that there are local players in the side are much more likely to support the club more, whether it be buying purchasing new shirts with the name of one of the local players' names on the back, season tickets, travelling to support the team at away games, etc, and then the supporters who can see that there are players playing for us that actually support and love the club, just like the supporters do. They then too feel a connection to that player, or too other players, or too the the team and too the club. When you have the supporters on the same wave length as the players and vice versa, the whole feel of the club then becomes a much more positive and happy place. The young supporters, the young players in the Academy and the young players at U21 level, U18 level, etc. Are the lifeblood of this club and it will be down to them, as to how big and successful this club can become. They are essential to the club, if we are to go on to bigger and better things. So, let's start to put things at the club right again. Starting with our Academy. However, I do unfortunately think that this part of the club - the Academy - will not be put right until we have a different owner, that knows how to run a football club properly and an owner who knows the game in and out. Cause at the moment we do not have an owner like that, one bit. It may take a few more hard years, but we will get there in the end.

Come On City!!!
