It's ok McNaughton saying that, but Cardiff will want him to go if WBA pay the asking fee.

David Marshall should 'stick season out' at Cardiff - McNaughton

David Marshall should resist the temptation to leave Cardiff City for Premier League West Brom, says ex-Bluebird Kevin McNaughton.

The Baggies have been linked with the highly-rated Scotland goalkeeper.

But fellow Scot McNaughton says Marshall, 30, should "stick it out another season" at Cardiff.
McNaughton also says Cardiff's squad is good enough to return to the Premier League, but early "pressure's probably on" boss Russell Slade.
Wigan's McNaughton feels Marshall would still have time on his side to attract future Premier League interest if Cardiff fail to win promotion in 2015-16.
McNaughton said: "They've got a good chance of going up this season. It's a tough one for him though.
"He obviously wants to keep his place with Scotland and if he's playing Premier League football every week, that'll improve his chances.
"But I think he should stick it out another season; see how he gets on this year… and take it from there.
"In terms of goalkeeping he's still pretty young."
McNaughton says Slade and his side are in a crucial start to the new campaign, which began with a 1-1 draw against Fulham at the weekend.
"It will probably be a make or break first couple of months for Cardiff, really," said McNaughton, who joined Wigan in August, 2015 after a loan stint at Bolton Wanderers.
"I think the pressure's probably on the manager a little bit. It's getting to look a bit more like his squad and his team.
"So I think the first couple of months are important for Cardiff, just to get a bit more of a feel good factor about the place and get the fans behind the team a bit more."

I don't think it's up to Marshall. Once the powers that be wanted to cash in on our main asset, that was it! We are back to being a selling club. The sooner Tan goes, the better for everyone.

Correct it's virtually out of Marshall hands.

I have no qualms about selling Marshal, I think he is one of the best shot stopper's around, but short comings in other areas prevent him being world class(in my opinion)
