No traffic!

By Steve Tucker

Sunday 9th August 2015

It was the lowest crowd for a league match at Cardiff City Stadium .... so at least that made it easy to get to the match.

The normally congested match-day roads seemed virtually traffic free, despite the fact there was a sell-out rugby game at the Millennium Stadium just up the road?

Anyone who has inched their way to a Bluebirds encounter in traffic and even missed the kick-off as a result will have felt a twinge of happiness even if it is at the cost of the club itself.

Fans queue up to collect and buy tickets at the Cardiff City Stadium

Blue really is the colour :bluescarf:

The other great sight in the summer sunshine was the new Cardiff adidas shirt which plenty of fans seemed to be modelling. After the accursed red it is a welcome return to tradition.

As was the sight of the new back-to basics Bluebird mascot walking around the place too. The new mascot will be named via a competition soon. Another step in the right direction by the club, that last mascot, that sort of superhero guy, well, it just never did feel right, did it?

Why go down to watch crap football, with a manager that persists with players that haven't had a good game in months.

Long ball crap.

The premier league was on.

You also expect a poor atmosphere. A shame that the new stand will always looks awful and will make the ground feel empty.

The best thing about us last season and even now is the fact you can drive to the stadium hassle free and no cues (hardly any). Getting out of the stadium is better too. There's always someone who will try and push thier way right in front of you or a car who will not let you in one of the lanes and stick to the middle even though you want to go a different direction to them. But on the w.hole is is a lot easier at the moment getting in and out of the stadium. It's a shame that some of us pay he privilege to park in the stadium but have to wait at th end of the match to get out? So many other people have left a long while before - perhaps even ho e before we have even left the stadium. I know it's probably down to safety of others leaving on foot but 5 mins is all people need not 15-20! There are too many slow dorderlers leaving the stadium holding up others! Pick you lane and drive - you have long enough to do in whilst waiting! Lol

Because we're real football supporters.
