To much focus on the negatives again

Sun Aug 09, 2015 12:13 pm

Sian Branson, Ali, the attendance, all negatives and the first two the club haven't covered themselves in glory but how about we focus in the positives. On the pitch it was a vast improvement and you could at least see what they are trying to do, we have taken some huge step backwards in a very short time on and off the pitch but I think we will take a few small steps forward both on and off the pitch in the next 6 months.

Qpr next and I think we can go and win that match and we will have our loyal hardcore of fans at that game. heads up bluebirds don't be so negative all the time :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Agreed. Felt we played decent stuff yesterday, just need to execute it better. Need to decide if Ralls is playing CM or on the wing. Need to play a better striker other than Revell. Kiko?

Crying out for a decent all round striker, but everybody wants one of them right? Midfield looked much better and with Ralls and a very sharp pilks and dick then it was almost a new midfield

Actually just some small adjustments would make a massive difference. Ralls definitely CM alongside Digkakoi and Gunnarsson, Doyle (or Macheda) for Revell, Fabio for Malone. A lot more positive

Malone is ten times the player fabio is! Had a great game yesterday as well and did nothing to deserve to be dropped. Not sure if Doyle is the answer but macheda definitely isn't!

Malone was probably our best player yesterday Pilkington aside

Bit worried people think we play great yesterday as far from that we had no tempo to our play everytime we get ball we stop and look see where next pass go to we need more pace in the team and up tempo we play like that every week we get caught out Fulham were terrible they be in bottom half of table I rather play rally in middle then whitts

Nobody has said we played great I think the general consensus was it was an improvement and we did try to play, the tempo will improve further in to the season, we had better possession and didn't just hoof it.

Re: To much focus on the negatives again

I wouldn't said it improvement as we still look like had no ideas first 15min we start ok but fulham defence was awful couldn't kick off of box properly yet we couldn't create clear chances and our defence was cut open just they didn't have pace to punish us we look like mid table side at best

What did whitts do wrong yesterday? And how can anyone say about dropping Malone when as nubbsy stated above him and Pilkington were stand out players

I can't believe how worried people get about things like a female fan shouting and standing and leaving early, and a bloke that makes the odd announcement changed ???

The Manager players budget and performances are important the rest is just insignificant IMO.#

A fair bit better yesterday and more togetherness and commitment :ayatollah:

Didn't go as at a wedding. Highlights of game on player showed we played well and deserved to win.

Wales online must be right because?
A reporter who has probably never played the game wrote a bit of bad press about him.
Yet countless managers continue to pick him and if he was that bad why didn't slade/Trollope/young take him of for Gunnar or Kennedy etc?

Also don't need to read wales online. 1. I was at the game.2.Ive played and watched football all my life

I thought we played decent football and was a joy to watch comparing to last year

If it wasn't for a slip up I think we would of won that game we were the better team, Fulham hit it over the top more often or not, great improvements hopefully we can keep it up now

I agree totally. If not for the mistake we would of scored first and went on to win the game

Haven't read wol so can't comment on that but what i can say is how I seen it and whits didn't set world on fire but didn't do nothing majorly wrong either. He passed easily and kept ball possession. The few times he dropped deep to collect ball of cb's as they couldn't pass water but would say he had 85%+ pass accuracy

Malone is no where near the player Fabio is I'm afraid. He had a good preseason and he played very well yesterday, in fact he was my man of match but to say he is 10 times the player Fabio is is absurd.
Having saying that, I will agree with you that he doesn't deserve to be dropped but I would play Fabio at right back to be honest.

I don't think so Steve. Its not me whose biased, you seem to always have a love in with him. I'm totally detached and would love him to come good because It would improve the team's chances of doing well, and you know truthfully yourself there is never going to be any possibility of him missing a game, even if he breaks his two legs. Early days but my guess is he will prove our achilles heel. I know you don't like it but we shall see.

The only really bad thing about yesterday and the reason we drew instead of won was Slade was the manager :sladeout:  :ayatollah: :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:
