Ali worked for our club for the last 14 years as an announcer, but was sacked less than 24hrs before the Fulham home game.
There are rumours that there was a bust up in the club shop with Ali and the club staff, but only those that were there can confirm that.
Ali has posted this on FB
Hi everyone i.e. fellow Bluebirds,
I was informed by Cardiff City Football Club today that my services as a stadium announcer are no longer required and my contract has been terminated as of today. This will also apply to Wales games.
As you can imagine, after almost 15 years in the job, I'm gutted to say the least. However, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the amazing support you've given me over the years. I wouldn't dare presume that I'm everybody's cup of tea but I've loved every minute of it and, thanks to you all, have some fantastic memories.
Also, good luck to my successor, Richard Sheppard.
All the best,
Ali

Yes, but that's hardly what is meant by "speaking out". Speaking out is when you spill the beans and reveal your side of the story and perhaps,up until this point in time, information we were not privy to!
What he says there is no more than a "thank you all".

Please sign the online petition to reinstate Ali. You can access it through walesonline. Sheppard is a good bloke but no announcer....he was appalling today, half-asleep! Showed how much we missed the Legend that is Ali Yassine.

Richard Shepherd! What a damp squib of an announcer, truly awful, as boring as that old geezer at Liverpool.
I'm all for petitioning to get Ali reistated.
Taxi for Shepherd.

I will always remember Ali for the time when we were playing Pompey and he said " Here's a song for all you Pompey fans" then played Rock Around The Clock! Older Cardiff will understand. CLASS. GOOD LUCK ALI AND THANKS. TEZA

I found Ali to be quite a personable guy when I once met him. But as for signing a petition I have to pas on that. He certainly didn't enhance the match day experience for me. The reverse if anything.

Axed Cardiff City announcer Ali Yassine signed up by Cardiff Devils for pre-season match
Axed Cardiff City Stadium announcer Ali Yassine has signed up with Cardiff Devils, WalesOnline can reveal.
Yassine was dramatically relieved of his duties on the tannoy at the Cardiff City Stadium less than 24 hours before the club kicked off its new season at home to Fulham last weekend after 14 years of service behind the microphone on match days.
The hugely popular announcer admitted he was left ‘gutted’ and ‘gobsmacked’ by the decision, with more than 1,100 angry supporters have voiced their protest with an online petition calling for him to be reinstated.
And, after hearing of Yassine’s plight, the Devils have invited him to be a guest announcer at one of their matches.
Yassine will join regular man behind the mic at the Big Blue Tent, Todd Kelman, to help build the atmosphere during the Devil’s pre-season friendly at home to Coventry Blaze on Saturday, August 29.
And Yassine, who has been a regular at Devils’ games for the last four years, admits the offer has acted as a real boost.
