Nobody has criricised the rumours of players being linked to this club more than me. I have a contact who has told me that Wayne Hennessey will be a Cardiff City player very shortly. He will not be in the Palace squad tomorrow for this reason, and will be announced as a City player within the next week or so. Cannot say who has provided the info, but he does'nt work for Burger King. Feel free to have a go at me if I am wrong.

Honestly. as sure as I can be. I would'nt put this on here if I thought I was going to be given stick later for starting a false rumour. This has come from someone who could'nt possibly be closer than the player in question. Feel free to bookmark this post and give me grief if I'm wrong. I find it very hard to believe Palace would leave Hennessey out with only their 4th choice keeper, who has never played a professional game, for back-up. In fact, the very reason Palace didn't want to sell to West Brom was because they needed Hennessey to stay after Speroni got injured.

Actually they did want to sell Hennessy, but West Brom would not pay what Palace wanted, "Sound familiar?"

Good one. I hear plenty of rumours but never post them as most never materialise. This info was given to me by someone in the game, and from someone who should know whats what. If it does'nt happen, will be the first and last time I post any transfer rumours on this forum. I have no reason to doubt the person who told me about this, particularly as he has spoken to the player in question quite recently.
