ALI YASSINE CONTRACT TERMINATED!

Hi everyone i.e. fellow Bluebirds,
I was informed by Cardiff City Football Club today that my services as a stadium announcer are no longer required and my contract has been terminated as of today. This will also apply to Wales games.
As you can imagine, after almost 15 years in the job, I'm gutted to say the least. However, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the amazing support you've given me over the years. I wouldn't dare presume that I'm everybody's cup of tea but I've loved every minute of it and, thanks to you all, have some fantastic memories.
Also, good luck to my successor, Richard Sheppard.

I wonder why the club have done this?

This is a bit out of the blue tbf and should have let him know before we got this close to the season.
