Rudy Gestede - Never looked a 6 Million pound player for us (now sold to Aston Villa).

My opinion is Yes, he did look a bit raw when he came to us from Metz - but I for one could see his potential as he got better and better with every chance he got with us and contrary to opinion, I think that You could have forseen that he would be a very good striker given time.

Rudy had a very good work ethic and Raw skill - no prima donna - Blackburn just put faith in him and he delivered.

Good luck to Him and yet another man management saga of our past.

One day we will get it right ?
