Got a funny feeling that Jones will be messed around like last year. Top scorer and left on the bench and then loaned out. I think that the club are desperately trying to offload him even though he is our best striker!

Why is he out? And why is everyone now putting Doyle way down the list when 3 weeks ago most were saying he should start with Mason?

I know we're paying him too much Annis, but it looks like we're stuck with him now. You can't deny he's our best striker when he's at his best though.

Although I'll admit his work-rate needs to improve.

Not guna be a popular decision, but I think revel would benefit mason more in kenwyns absence. I can't see amoebi and mason clicking together up front with their styles, I'd rather see revel start and we then have plenty of options to change things up with some good attacking players on the bench.

He's only good to come on if we are backs to the wall to rustle a few feathers.
Can't hit a cows ass with a banjo and touch isn't great not the quality you would desire to bang in 20 and make a creative contribution.

and in fact going on what youve been saying on here in the past
we save his 5k appearance money and 5k a goal he gets
plus with him starting we would quickly get back into last years tactics of hoof ball

He's away playing in the sunshine for his country and scoring goals against poor opposition and then for the first game of the season to play for his club side who pay him wages of approximately 50K he is not playing. Bloody ridiculous.. In the real world if you do not work you don't get paid- so why the hell is he?

Everyone wanks off over kenwynne jones making out he is some sort of goal machine or like robert lewandawski of the championship, HE SCORED 12 GOALS IN 45 APPEARANCES, hardly clinical is it, and a poor record if you ask me, he is lazy and about as mobile as a tortoise. Few players missing for the first game of the season. Its a shame not to have a fully fit squad.

Even with the guys who are out, i think we have a great chance of victory though.

According to WOL he has a slight muscle strain & Slade doesn't want to risk him.
