Wolves have confirmed the signing of striker Adam Le Fondre on a season long loan, with the deal announced on the club's official website.

Le Fondre underwent a medical yesterday, leaving Cardiff City behind after an unsuccessful move to the Welsh capital.

His capture delighted fans of the club, here is a look at how they reacted via Twitter...

I think they will be disappointed by the end of the season. However as he's trying to earn a move there he might actually pull his finger out unlike here where he couldn't hit a barn door.

Personally I think it was down to not having the right players. Didn't have a player who could put chances on a plate for him.

Seems like I'm the only one but he never quite ticked all the boxes for me.

What does it say about our ambitions? Loaning out players to our potential rivals who we should be getting money for? I just hope we are not paying any of his huge salary, are we the new man city just loaning out players just to get them off our books because we paid way too much for them? Wolves will be up there this season but I'm not sure about le fondres ability, has he still got it. There will be pressure there for sure.

Which manager are you blaming Annis? he's failed to score under both last season? Just didn't want to be here in my opinion missed far too many chances

His record wasn't very good Ian. Effort may have been there but couldn't score.

Don't see how you can blame management for him not scoring, he scored most of his goals for Bolton in similar circumstances as he was in with City.

He spent too much time diving and getting caught offside with us, oh and he missed a shitload of easy chances for such a high profile goalscorer!

IMO he will have another shit year and score a max of 5-6 league goals.

You need to look at the bigger picture and see that he started every game under Slade until we loaned him out in January and was forever offside and diving! He may well have been played in a formation that didn't suit his style of play however, but he still had a shitload of chances and goal scoring chances with us, which he fecked up!

The bigger picture, is under Slade he failed,but not under other managers.

He didn't look good under Ole either.
