How come everybody seems to be jumping on Adam 'only here for Ole' Le Fondre.
The guy has scored goals wherever he goes bar here.
Doesn't it seem suspect that Cardiff was the only place he didn't continue with his record due to our inept midfield and tactics?
Give the guy a break. Watch him be one of the top goalscorers this season.

I don't believe it was the tactics. I don't think we had the right sort of players. Plus he missed some big sitters for us. He didn't want to be here end of. He's gone. Let's move on.

As soon as he went out on loan after having 30 odd games worth of chances for us he started publicly saying he wanted to leave and bad mouthing Slade, we don't need players like this here and it's good riddens as far as I'm concerned

The whole mess started with OGS. He brought in far to many players with no plan, many of them ONLY wanting to play for him, Le Fondre being one of them. He publicly stated he wanted to come here to play for him, Daehli being another. As soon as he went, they jumped ship.
Le Fondre might be a goal scorer, but his heart wasn't in it here which is no good! Rather have players who want to be here than ones who don't, regardless of his record. Players like him are the reason why the dressing room was so bad, as stated by many players still here i.e. Kennedy. Getting rid of these type of players is only good for us, rather a squad of 20 who will play for the club rather than ones who play for their boyhood hero and want out as soon as he goes.
I'm not a fan of Slade, but the end of last season and pre season has seen improvements. Why? Because the ones who don't want to be here are slowly leaving, and Slade can now give his primary focus on the ones who want to be here.

He had plenty of chances and did nothing. Every other striker bar Guerra outperformed him, even Macheda managed to score twice the amount of goals Le Fondre did, in half the time!
Sure there was lots going on in the background, but his effort and commitment was disgraceful. He couldn't wait to get away and deserves the stick aimed at him. Thankfully we are now putting together a squad that wants to be here.

I think his attitude was all wrong - he made his thoughts on his situation very clear and very public as soon as he was dropped but never said a word while he was being picked. For me he is everything that is wrong with modern football. He really wanted out from our club but was happy to pick up his wages and publicly criticise the manager [I'm no Slade fan but Le Fondre can't have any complaints about the number of chances he had to prove himself]. I haven't heard Macheda, Jones, Healy, Doyle etc. moan about not being picked and they have all had less game time than Le Fondre did. Good Riddance I say.

I was so excited when we signed him last year and thought he was going to be our 20+ goal striker, couldn't of been more wrong I know he didn't want to be here but the sitter he missed against Millwall I couldn't believe this was the same guy with a great goals per game ratio in the PREM! anyways anyone who doesn't want to wear the shirt and wants out show them the door!
