Since when is Wolves a northern team? Pity it never worked out for him, but he's going to score loads for them.

It's all bullshit with these footballers. Remember that Chris Burke pouring his poor little heart out saying he needed to leave to be near his kids in Scotland, ended up at Birmingham. Wankers.

bit of a silly decision giving wolves a player whose capable of scoring 20 plus goals when they will be challenging for the league.

They now have the best strike force in the division

dicko
afobe
le fondre

those 3 will score some goals between them!!

Agree 100% mate. I have to travel worldwide to earn my £15000 a year and I miss my children too. I think I could probably manage to see out a two or three year contract that brings me about £100,000 a month and a big signing on fee at a push though.

No, don't remember that. Mainly because I don't think he ever did.

Think it's a farce when we offload our better players to Championship rivals. Jones to Bournemouth ( when he was our top scorer) and now Le Fondre to Wolves after a good spell at Bolton. Presumably no one wanted to pay a decent transfer fee but why get rid of the better players and stick with the mediocre or extremely average players. There is saving money but isnt there any ambition to fight for promotion with the better players?

Wolves are having le fondre

In fairness they were the club who put the offer in and it's 2 hours closer to his family what would you choose if you wanted to move closer ?

Stay in Cardiff reserves or move 2 hours closer and possibly be playing games

Is there a hefty loan fee involved? Hope there is as there won't be long left on his contract next season therefore his valuation will drop. :bluescarf:

Le Fondre doesn't want to be here and nobody is willing to put in a transfer bid for him because they know he desperately wants to leave and we're desperate to offload his wages. Le Fondre's wages can then be used to bring someone else in, who actually wants to be here. Maybe it'll be that Bournemouth striker on loan? It makes perfect sense to me anyway. We will be financially better off offloading Le Fondre's wages for a full season, then taking a transfer fee for him if he impresses at Wolves this season.

Agree. Only keep the players who want to play for us and that includes Marshall.

Wouldn't be a problem if he did play at CCS, he would probably fall over in front of goal. There must be land movement on that pitch cos he was always losing his balance.

Wolves have completed the signing of Adam Le Fondre on a season-long loan from Cardiff.

The former Rotherham striker had tweeted earlier on Monday that he was "off for a medical" and the 28-year-old has now completed a switch to Molineux.

Wanderers have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

Both clubs announced the deal on Monday evening, with Wolves' head of football development and recruitment Kevin Thelwell saying: "We are really pleased to bring Adam to the club.

"He has a proven goalscoring pedigree with a terrific strike rate in both the Championship and the Premier League.

"We have been chasing him for a long time and are delighted that he is now a Wolves player."

A Cardiff statement added: "The loan runs until 31st May 2016, inclusive. Adam is ineligble to feature in either of our fixtures with Wolves during the 2015/16 season.

"We'd like to thank Adam for his contribution and wish him luck for the future."

Le Fondre was out of favour at the Bluebirds after joining from Reading in 2014, scoring just three times in 25 games, and spent time on loan at Bolton last season, netting eight goals in 17 outings.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has been searching for a new striker after losing Bakary Sako and failing to land Chris Wood, who joined Leeds.

The head coach only has Benik Afobe and Nouha Dicko as his frontline strikers and needed fresh firepower.
