ALL THIS BULLSHIT

Mon Aug 03, 2015 10:26 am

Reading some of the stuff on here makes me laugh. People are now saying that the Club is not showing any ambition and Tan is going to "asset Strip" and run when the para shoot money ends. Yes he will go sometime.

I am disappointed that Marshall maybe on his way, but in the way of the world that is football generally, if the Premier league come knocking for a star player from a championship club then if the player wants it he will go FACT and we have a very good keeper in Simon Moore.
In the case of Le Fondre & Guarra the only thing that will be missed from them is the size of the salary every month certainly not football, and to a lesser degree the same could be said about Jones with a combined salary of £45K per week. Strikers are one thing the club is not short of FACT
I am no fan of Tan but previously Ole recruited more players that most of us have hot dinners and resulted in the bloated squad that Slade has had to deal with, I don't blame Tan in saying that before any players can be brought in then current players need to be shipped out, if any of us were in his shoes we would be doing the same.

Note most clubs in the Championship are not splashing the cash Ref: Financial Fair Play Rules

I believe that we have the basis of a squad capable of challenging in the top six with one or two quality additions. I for one will not be having a rant over these players leaving

So, selling your best player who doesn't really want to go isn't asset stripping? Tan turned up once last season....do you think he gives a damn since the red debacle? He will try to flog the club when the time's right. He didn't appoint the best manager for the job, he appointed a yes-man. Slade wanted Marshall to stay but he's leaving - that shows you who's in control.

I believe Marshall do want to go and play in the prem with a handsome transfer fee, and a tidy pay rise too no doubt.
Why would he not want to play at the highest level?

We need to keep our best players. Marshall never pushed for a move. It simply shows our lack of ambition.
