CM/CAM - Whits and Ralls
LM - Ameobi

Then mason up top I front of Ralls and Whits

Needs to ditch 442 and play a 451 with energy in the team dikgacoi and Ralls central Pilkington and ameobi wide and whitts where he can influence the game right behind the striker

playing ameobi allows him to switch between a 4 5 1 and a 442. Looked good against Watford and it was the most we have controlled a game against good opposition I have seen in a long while. Does beg the question why are we still so top heavy on forwards.

The lack of pace is truly worrying. Hope this mystery box to box midfielder signs this this week.

Ameobi (pushing on as a second striker when attacking with Ralls moving out left).

Personally I'd play this...

Malone

CDM - Dic
CM/CAM - Whits and Ralls
LM - Ameobi

Then mason up top I front of Ralls and Whits

good shout apart from the defence, I would put Fabio in there at either left or right back and there's not much we can do for the time being about the center backs until Manga is back which when he is I would pair him with Connely

well I hope Slade does do that and I just might start liking him

I don't really agree with the defence as I would prefer Fabio over Malone but with the players who are fit to start Saturday I would play this !

In the championship you need a strong midfield, with ralls and Dikgachoi sat deep we would be very hard to break down. Add the pace of Pilkington and amoebi either side of a forward thinking whittingham supporting Mason, Doyle or Jones and we would have a very good attacking force aswell IMO . On form it would be Mason at the moment

we would tear the championship apart with that team/formation I know
