Cardiff City fans share their love for David Marshall and urge him to stay - as West Brom prepare £5m bid.

Bluebirds supporters have taken to social media to issue a clear message to their captain - please stay in South Wales!
Don't you dare leave us!
That is the clear message Cardiff City fans have given to captain David Marshall after it emerged West Brom were planning a £5m bid.
We asked Bluebirds supporters on our Facebook and Twitter pages what messages they have for Marshy in light of today's shock news.
Here's what they came up with on Facebook...
Ben Jones One of the reasons I renewed my season ticket was for David Marshall! Quality player. C'mon Marshall you have to stay.
Richard Garfield Thomas Stay David Stay.
Kian Major When we could've sold him for more previously, it's not good business.
Ben Rees He wont go, him and his wife Michelle are happy here.

This would be a good move for Marshall. He deserves to play PL football with a bigger club. Championship is below his skill set

All I would say David as my namesake please don't go and also think of your international career!! U are pretty much guaranteed to be the 1st name on our team sheet and at the moment your probably the 1st on Scotland's aswell.. You're not a bench player so would t make sense.. You're happy here, ur family are happy here and we are more than happy having you here.
