Paul Konchesky

Thu Jul 30, 2015 3:44 pm

Would anyone take him for a cut price to add a bit of versatility and quality to our defence. Can play at full back or at the heart of the defence.

Would be available on the cheap as Ranieri (Leicester boss) is quoted saying he's 'not in his plans'.

Anyone take him? :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :sladein:

not for me James. i think center midfield needs strengthening and possibly a striker if we lose Jones, le fondre, guerra etc
defence looks allright at moment

I agree, a striker must be the priory but we are still struggling for competition for Peltier.

Peltier
Fabio
Malone
Connolly
John

With Fabio being able to play either side and Connolly being able to cover there as well then I think we are sorted defensively.

Only one of those is a specialist right back.

But 2 are more of a right back than Konchesky. If we are looking at a free agent for right back then I think that should be James Perch (sure he was released)

I believe Javi Guerra could be that man. Hoping this goal cheers him up and he slams on the door of Slades office begging for another chance. Cant see it but we live in hope. Certainly a 20 a season striker when happy. Loved his movement for the goal last night

Perch signed for QPR for undisclosed fee so I was wrong about a free agent
