Swarm

Was the Prime Minister right to call the benefit chasers a swarm? I personally think he was

Yeah he was. It's just the left wing muppets of labour making a fuss of this.

The PM use of swarm is apt.

I'm left of centre

Indeed, what is the fuss?? :?

Not a Cameron fan, but not sure how else he could describe thousands of illegals trying to sneak into the UK?? :(

Labour et al starting to clutch at straws if they need to resort to this kind of stuff!

Queue some the opportunity for some hustings from Military Junta! :laughing6: :laughing6:

'Swarm' is an understatement of what's happened to this country. 'Swamped' or 'Infested' also doesnt even come close.

I agree with you 90% although I'm not sure its Labour who are kicking up a fuss over the term 'swarm'.

More guilty is the race industry which has sprung up over the past 30 years which has well paid employees with vested interests in killing the immigration debate.

A keen tactic is to hone in on a descriptive word such as 'swarm' (in the past its been swamp) and somehow transform it into an 'offensive' term. This has the result of making those who are speaking out somehow look like latter day Nazi's whilst a bunch of illegal criminals suddenly become 'victims'.

I hope the PM has the strength of conviction to stand up to these people as this nonsense has gone on long enough.

Tony, I agree with you and used 'Labour' as a generalisation after seeing Harriet Harman giving it large on TV and is why I included "et al" for the other do-gooders that jump on any bandwagon that promotes its own agenda

We are fast approaching the time when the 'ordinary citizen' (whatever that may be) is not allowed to speak for fear of upsetting one person or group with what may well be the simple truth!

This country cannot take the strain of any more non-UK 'social dependants'. Cameron knows that and his Government's introduction of 'austerity' shows that so clearly!

Sadly, with one hand tied behind his back with the gut of the EU Bureaucratic Anonynimities, he has to tread very carefully and this is one such example!
