All the attributes to still turn good.

He is a bit of a dick apparently though so I will not be following his career closely.

I'll be honest and state that I have no idea how he's managed to build up such a reputation that he keeps getting moves to the Premiership. That Southampton, a very good team now, have gone in for him baffles me even more.

He's been relegated twice in a row with different clubs, his positioning is dire, and he doesn't have a footballing brain, in my opinion. Maybe he's being signed for his goals! :D

Steven Caulker wants to prove himself at Southampton after enduring back-to-back Premier League relegations with Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers.
A graduate of Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, Caulker joined Southampton on a season-long loan yesterday as the club attempt to fill the void left by Toby Alderweireld’s exit and a serious knee injury to Florin Gardos. Southampton are not understood to have a buy-out option as part of the deal, for which they paid a “substantial undisclosed loan fee”, according to parent club QPR.
Caulker failed to impress after moving to Loftus Road last summer in an £8  million deal – a similar fee to that paid by Cardiff in 2013. Both of those campaigns ended in relegation and the England international is determined to have a betterseason at St Mary’s.
“I’m very pleased and very excited,” Caulker, 23, said. “This club has done fantastically well, especially over the last two years. To now join this club and to be a part of it for this year is something I’m proud of.
“As soon as I got the phone call to say a fee was agreed with Southampton, I was delighted to get the opportunity to come and play under a great manager. This club is an ambitious one, so to be part of this is a great opportunity – it’s a chance for me to prove myself. I’m very excited for the season ahead.”
Caulker is unavailable for Southampton’s Europa League qualifier against Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday.

Expected a lot better of him when he was with us but I will put it down to not having an experienced head alongside him.

Age on his side he can still reach his potential.
