' THE REMOVAL OF SAM HAMMAM '

Football 24/7

Wednesday July 29th 2015

Cardiff City wanted to remove Sam Hammam as Life President and also Michael Filiou as a director.

In the media it was stated on three occasions that both men would be removed from their positions.

A board meeting took place on July 17th and there has been a complete u-turn on the decision.

Both Hammam and Filiou will remain in their positions as Life President and director respectively.

The dispute over repayments of the loan notes between the club and Langston is still ongoing.

I've come to the conclusion that Sam Hammam is like a class A drug. You know he's bad, you know he'll destroy your health, and you know he shouldn't be anywhere near you. However, you can't deny, it was a lot of fun when you were taking it!

Given that few of us (certainly not including me) know even a little of what is going on here, I am leaning towards this being the right decision; at least until the full details of the matter are made public and we can all judge on FACTS rather than fiction and/or personal tastes towards the individuals involved

I know where Zabier is coming from, though!

Annis, Mehmet Dalman told Terry Phillips that Sam and Filiou would be removed and simply it hasn't happened because they could do it.

The funny story here this topic has proved some people wrong again, but the usual suspects won't admit it.

Proved wrong in what respect Annis? This story tells is precisely nothing Everyman and his dog knows meeting was not to remove Sam. As ccFc62 stated reasons why this could not happen at the meeting! it was to discuss his removal more likely? Or do you know different?? As post says the (MEDIA) not the club saying it.

Of course I was supporting Cardiff before Sam came onboard and it's clear that we wouldn't be at the !evel we're at now, if it hadn't been for him, but the same as you jump on the level of debt having increased under VT, it also increased significantly under Sam!

The difference being, that VT hasn't left us in the shit financially as yet, whereas Sam did!

Sam did his own bit of rebranding and at least I only have to do a round trip of just under 200 miles ATM and not have to book flights or ferries to watch us play in Ireland, as I would have to have done, if Sam had got his way! :D
