Tonight's performance vs Watford

Really enjoyed the game tonight and it was encouraging seeing how we played, Joe Mason looked sharp and could be our 20 goal a season man.

I also expected thought our defence looked solid considering Manga and Turner are both out. Also thought Dickagcoi played and well and also o'keefe when he came on.

The most encouraging thing for me was seeing us play football on the floor we were passing the ball around well and hoof ball was very limited.

Not getting carried away it's only pre season but a good performance against premier league opposition

Overall a good performance, where Mason showed some clinical finishing, I hope he proves my early assessment of him to be wide of the mark,the downside of tonight's game was Whittingham again showing he is far from being the player he once was,and what has happened to our pitch, it was terrible

Really encouraged by tonights performance, may only be a pre-seaon friendly but it's the most I've seen us play the ball on the deck in a long time. The midfield looked to have found a really nice balance to it, Dikgacoi impressed me always looking to get on the ball and threw his weight around. Whitts and Ralls interchanged throughout really well from centre midfield and the inside midfield positions and I also thought Ameobi was a threat playing off the striker, he looks a handful on the floor and also can put himself about in the air. All in all we looked a lot more fluid, the players seem to know their roles and our movement to get on the ball pulled the opposition around.
