Cardiff City await injury updates on centre-backs Ben Turner and Bruno Manga with both set to miss season opener

Turner has been recovering from ankle surgery whilst Manga picked up an injury on the Bluebirds' pre-season tour of Holland
Cardiff City are awaiting injury updates on central defenders Bruno Manga and Ben Turner later today.
Matt Connolly, Sean Morrison Semi Ajayi look the leading contenders to link up at centre half against Fulham, while Nugent is a capable deputy with League experience for the Bluebirds, Brentford, Peterborough and Yeovil.
Slade also has the option of moving right-back Lee Peltier into the heart of defence with Fabio, Declan John and Scott Malone all available in the wide areas.

'Cardiff City medics have revealed good news on injured centre-half Bruno Manga and manager Russell Slade says: “His injury doesn’t look as serious as we initially feared.”
Manga suffered a knee injury during the Bluebirds’ 1-0 win against Sparta Rotterdam in Holland and had scans in hospital on Monday.
The Bluebirds boss described the injury as a ‘devastating blow’ but scans have show there is no major ligament damage.
“It’s terrific news," said Slade.
"We can have a little bit more optimism about Bruno because his injury doesn’t seem to be as bad as perhaps we thought initially.
“We are hopeful he won’t be out for long.”'
