Just renewed my season ticket for the 15th straight year....have to admit it was a close thing but in the end caved in an and renewed...only 3 of us not 4 have renewed for next season but fair play to the club I think they got the match day ticketing and pricing about right so he should be there for quite a few games
Interesting that while I was there 2 other people renewed and 1 brand new season ticket sold...so there are still quite a few renewing even at this last stage...might reach 13,000 yet

Great post and congrats on renewing, fella!
You are bang on when you say the club have the match day pricing sorted for this year and it will afford people the opportunity to come support their club when they are able to do so

Taking the Canton stand as an example, if you buy a season ticket it works out at £15 per game (£345) you take an average matchday price at £20 (£460) - in other words you can still miss 6 of the 23 home games and it's still better value than paying per game.
Unless you're planning on going to less than 17 home games then a season ticket has to make sense.

It's not really about money, though, is it?

Obviously there are various reasons, money is undoubtedly one of them for many fans.
