Just spoke to a lad from that area , take this with a pinch of salt. He said where the burger van is there was a drug deal last night. Apparently somebody got shot.

My wife works in Mountain Ash and was there today - there was a shooting.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a roadside shooting in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
A 46-year-old man from Mountain Ash was arrested on Monday afternoon.
Mark Jones, 43, from Mountain Ash, was shot at about 19:40 BST on Sunday in a layby on New Road in an area known locally as Lletty Turner Bends.
Two gunshots were heard coming from Mr Jones's parked white Audi A3 and he is in a critical condition in Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.
The arrested man remained in custody on Monday afternoon.
The A4059 New Road between Mountain Ash and Abercynon has now been reopened after being sealed off for much of Monday.
