Am usually on here saying who cares about the attendance as last year it did become a bit of an obsession with some posters. But am interested in what fans think the opening game will be now that the glory prem season ticket holders have gone.
We will no doubt have done decent walk up crowds this year but equally crowds will dwindle for midweek games and if Slade dishes out some of the performances of last year.
But first game, some decent positivity for a change and more positive vibes coming from within the camp with our new blue shirt my guess is just over 23,500
What's your guess?

18000 max

Traditionally our first game is one of the highest, would be dissapointment if we only got 18,000

17k my guess, can't see there being many away fans plus it's early KO rugby on may put some people off
Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:10 pm
16-17k.
Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:17 pm
15K. Then the crowds will slowly dip.
Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:35 pm
Hopefully around 17-18k
Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:42 pm
23 k

There will be two different attendances as there was last year.

Sadly, holidays and lethargy will see an opening fixture (IMHO) with a crowd of c.15000 max.

After the dross served up by Slade last season, anything over 15,000 will be a bonus.
Mon Jul 27, 2015 8:59 am
First game, I reckon 15,000
Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:07 am
I don't care how many. As long as we win.

we didn't get that last season if I can remember with 1000s more st holders so we got no chance imo we will be lucky for 18k to show up
Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:18 am
Good weather 21,903 , bad weather 17.789
Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:30 am
We're back in blue now so 33,000!
Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:31 am
Points on the table means more fans on the seats! If we win the first 10, (not going to happen) then we will be 26,000
Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:44 am
13800
Mon Jul 27, 2015 11:18 am
18k max
Mon Jul 27, 2015 6:26 pm
I reckon 14/15,000, early kick off is always a bad thing.

that is the most accurate guess i have ever seen....

I think it will under 15 thou simple reason there is a rugby international and at £20 a ticket. we've got around 10000 season ticket holders of which some will leave at h/t to go to the go rugby and walk up crowd will be affected for same reason

Surely no chance being under 15k
Mon Jul 27, 2015 9:21 pm
For all those saying under 15 k I will gladly take bets! Not a chance it will be that low, 18 k maybe but under 15 no chance! We have to many fickle fans and a lot of those will attend the opening fixture

I would think around 18k, which will be a decent base to build on, it's up to Slade and the players then to deliver football that's worth watching and hopefully also capable of bringing home the points.

To increase those crowds going forward

They've found better things to do on a Saturday. In my case, watching my 2 sons play local Amateur League football. As it happens, I would have gone to the Fulham game, but am away that weekend.
