Agree. I think that the club needed to bring in 3/4 quality players to improve on last seasons mid table finish. Ameobi is a bonus but to date there has been a distinct lack of ambition by the club and getting anywhere near the top 6 is a distant dream. Unfortunately we have too many average players in the squad and not enough quality to mount a serious challenge. Mid table finish at best.

Yeah, balls to the Financial Fair Play rules, let's bring in another clutch of overpaid players and keep all the deadwood we currently have in the squad, just in case we pick up around 20 odd or more serious injuries!

We had the players to do that last year, sadly OGS under prepared them, destroyed moral and left them unfit, RS and trollope did a lot better, and with the emphasis being on fitness in a proper pre-season, i think we will see an improved side

We singed lots of quality last year, it didn't get us anywhere.

It's all about unity, team spirit, fitness and using what we have got now. We have easily got enough quality to challenge for top 6 and still have a deep squad.
