Jordan Blaise
Delighted and proud to Sign my first professional contract with CardiffCityFC
Come on Blue Birds :bluebird: :bluebird:

The 19-year-old joined the Bluebirds on a trial period with the club’s U21 side three weeks ago and made a telling impact coming off the bench in an encounter with Forest Green Rovers.

Despite only playing five minutes, the imposing defender immediately struck a chord with the supporters as he duly obliged to their demands of performing the 'Ayatollah', a renowned Cardiff routine.

Blaise has subsequently performed well in training, prompting boss Russell Slade to offer the youngster a two-year contract and a chance to shine in the club’s development squad, as per the BBC.

Clearly a big step in his young career, Blaise took to social networking site Twitter in order to share his delight at signing his first ever professional contract with the Welsh outfit.

I love it when footballers show passion for the club that they play for. It's about time we produced or signed players who want to play for the club. I feel players like this have got a much better chance of succeeding at a club, when they show the manager, coaches, players and more importantly, the fans, how grateful and happy they are to be playing for our club. It is great to see younger players acting like this, I wish more of them acted just like this.

Welcome to Cardiff City Jordan mate, our fans will support you throughout the good times and the bad times. Especially, for the way that you have conducted yourself and for the respect that you have shown both the club and it's fans, since your very first day of arrival here.

Good luck for the future and I hope that it will not be to long until we see you playing first team football regularly.

Bloooooobirds.

I think he'll be popular with the fans even in he turns out rubbish. From the whole Ayatollah espisode to the way he's conducted himself on twitter, I think he'll be applauded by the supporters. A bit of a cult figure like LFW & Eddie Johnson I feel. :ayatollah: :bluebird:
