Newcastle are not willing to meet QPR's £15m valuation of 26-year-old striker Charlie Austin

if they don't then someone else will. if not in the next few weeks, then i bet you a team will pay that or more on deadline day.
every team is desperate to stay in the league more than ever and are all looking at the same strikers. QPR have no need to drop that valuation. i think he's a top player and if we had him up front we probably would have stayed up.

Agreed, better than Ings IMO but Ings has age on his side
