Cardiff City have confirmed that defender Deji Oshilaja has joined Gillingham on loan until January 3, 2016, subject to international clearance.
21-year-old Oshilaja will link up with manager Justin Edinburgh for the second time at Priestfields, having played under the former Tottenham defender while on loan at Newport County during the 2013/14 season.

I though that Deji was going to be more involved with the first team this season??? When will he finally get a chance to show the fans what he can do? I feel for him, cause I do think he should be a part of the squad and I though that he may have provided back up for Peltier at right back. I hope he does stay when he returns in January, cause I do not want to lose another good young player that never got his chance to play for the first team. Just like what happened with Josh Yorweth, another player that should not have been released, as he was a good prospect. But luckily for him Mick McCarthy rated him and after a trial period he signed a two year contract with Ipswich. I really cannot see the point of the academy anymore, cause we are not using it to our advantage one little bit. Things have to change with the academy and they must change sooner rather than later. A few years ago Tan said that the academy was vital to our future. Fast forward a few years and now he doesn't give a shit about it at all. Yes, I know since the change back to blue that he has stopped financing a lot of things down the club these days. I would be more happy for Tan to keep the academy up and running and smoothly, rather than spend money on signings. If it meant us not being able to bring in players for two transfer windows and the money which was set aside for transfers, was used just for the academy, then I would have no problem with that
Bloooooobirds.

Didn't Deji say yesterday that he didn't want to go out on loan again (afc Wimbledon wanted him back) and instead fight for a first team place??
Yet another Slade mistake IMO, we should be developing and nurturing our youngsters with us..
Good luck Deji and hope to see you back in January

With Manga injured this looks like a cock up. Having said that Ben Nugent used to be a tidy player.

When slade dropped fabio at right back the fans said he was clueless. When declan John was loaned out the fans said slade was clueless for not playing him left back. If he didn't play malone at left back fans would say he's clueless for not playing his own signing. Now fans are blaming slade for sending the 4th choice out on loan. You just could not make this stuff up!
