Just a small payment for the torture inflicted in the 80's.And my late father(bless him) always said the Tories didn't give a shit for the working man.Wales was ignored in the 1930's by the Tory government and it was the King of all people that shamed them by speaking out after visiting Wouth Wales and seeing the deprivation first hand.I know the Labour party is pants these days but there will be a heatwave in Siberia before I vote for that lying scum.I feel sorry for all those so called working strivers that voted tory in the last election only to find themselves on the wrong end of another tory lie.The proposed minimum wage of £7.20ph is nowhere near enough to cover the loss of working taxs credits and so yet again they take the piss out of the very people that voted them into power.

if youare in a low paid job here you may as well claim benefits as no inncentive to work and immigrants that do come here should not be allowed to claim anything until they have put in.....there must be a reason so many walk through countries to get to our shore....and i bet its f**k all to do with the weather..

There's a simple way to make work pay....employers could pay decent wages instead of trousering everything! And they come here because we got good beer and football

Labour completely messed up immigration during the noughties but amazingly still held power right through the decade. What that proves is deep down people care more about the economy than immigration (or any other issue) as it was the financial crash which did for them rather than anything else.
But you make a great point about the Tories who only 10 weeks ago couldn't tell us where the welfare cuts were going to come, only to suddenly find a way of hitting so called "strivers" for a grand a year in tax credit cuts, while at the same time allowing the impoverished millionaires to pass on £1m tax free after their deaths.
It is just amazing how naïve people are in thinking the Tories are a party of "working people". For all their faults there is only one party that truly has the interests of working people at heart and that's the Labour Party.

its about having a gulf between what you can earn working and what you get sitting on your arse doing f**k all.....and im fully aware that we need to support people who genuinely cant supprot themselves....
