SSN reporting that Blackburn have turned down a 12 m bid for Rhodes from Boro!
Looks like Boro are pushing the boat out after spending 4/5m on Downing. Derby are also going for it and they are now in talks with Jason Shackell having made quite a few high profile signings already this summer.

We could have got this guy for up to £4M = 3-4 YEARS AGO WHEN I STARTED TO GO ON AND ON ABOUT HIM !!!

Might be tiring..but just making a point.At least he is still playing not like some other names who keep popping up on here who we were linked with 4 years ago or played for us and are now playing non league / golf / taxing /finding school for their kids !

Should have signed Rhodes. Thats a 200% ROI if we could have nabbed him for £4m.
