Understand if he leaves. At least John may be given a chance. Shame though, Fabio shows passion and commitment.

Found out he was only renting, so maybe just a case of owner selling up.

Yes and a complete lack of a football brain.
Headless chicken out of position is what he really brings to a team. Always got a big mistake waiting to happen.

Gimme Fabio over Malone on the left is my personal opinion.
I would like to see Fabio and Pelts as our fullbacks if we have to play 442.
Would love us to try 3 at the back tho

For someone with a lack of a footballing brain, he's played in a Premier League winning team and in a Champions League final? :thumbright:

Exactly fabio any day of the week for me, so what if he does get out of position he is good enough to rectify that whereas declan is not. Declan should be played in his proper position eg: on the wing

How many games did he actually play in this team? He was a back up when they had emergencies. He was not trusted due to the reasons I put above. I think his last game for Man Utd resulted in a straight red card minutes after coming on as a substitute? He was bought as a package with his brother by Man Utd. If you like to see committed players charging about clueless then he is your man.
Remember WBA away when he was dragged off by Ole after 30 mins and we improved dramatically then, coming from 2 - 0 down to draw.
His best game I can remember was away to Notts Forest (end of last season) with him and Ralls on the left and they linked up very well. Wouldn't mind seeing that combination again to see if is good or that was just a one off.

Declan cannot defend! Whoever said he was a defender needs to look at themselves, he is ok once he is over halfway line in opposition box,Fabio/Malone much better defenders.

Trouble with Declan is he's always about 5 yards behind the rest of the back 4. Just doesn't cut it for me as a full back. With all our wingers I think he should go out on loan or maybe look for first team action elsewhere. Can't see him pushing on to be honest,be ok League 1 but I think that's his best option.

For me Declan is too short. The long diagonal ball over his head and crosses to the back post catch him out 90% of the time. Opposition teams suss out his height problem very quickly. Fabio is short but got more of a spring in his leap. There seems to be taller full backs in teams these days to cover the back post.
