I can understand your feelings. We played dreadful football last season. The club have not spent a penny on transfer fees so far ( which generally is a boost and gives you something to look forward to seeing a different team). I fear that we are going to be served up the same boring football as last season. I just hope that the players/ manager respond and the performances improve otherwise thousands more will desert attending the CCS.

If you feel that bad, then it might be time to call it a day, or at least take a break.

I seriously doubt out of all your 45 years, this is the season you're feeling the lowest. Maybe you will feel more optimistic if we had Kenny Hibbett as our manager, Tony Philliskirk leading our attack and Samesh Kumar as our owner?

It's about the long game. I think we're looking at a poor season quality wise, but part of supporting a club like our's, is looking to the future and agitating for change where needed.

I always look forward to the new football season
Yes we had some dire matches last season I'm hoping that with a pre season of Paul Trollope coaching them you must have hope
I will give Slade until Christmas
If we are not in the top six by then he has to go
I suggest all supporters give it their all in supporting the bluebirds and hope that Slade gets some decent results
Keep the faith and don't wish for gloom
Bluebirds for ever

I really don't get these "this is the worst its been" (in this case 45 years) claims. I can think of dozens of seasons where I thought "oh crap here we go again" in the same period, certainly prior to Sam Hammam's arrival.

Since 2000 we have had only one relegation (and that was from the Premier League) and since 2003 we have been in the 2nd tier or above.

Sorry there may be underlying problems with CCFC but in no way is the present situation worse than the dark old dungeon division days.

Agree with this, Allan

Cautious optimism after a poor season last time out and actually looking forward to the first game now! :ayatollah:

Nothing to do with the OP but I just thought I'd say how much I like watching lesbians going at it. Lovely Lovely Lesbians.

When there's no football, there is nothing more wholesome and natural than to watch beautiful women performing extraordinary acts of 'kindness' on each other.

On a separate matter, who-the-fuck is responsible for this abomination of what I presume to be a Michael Jackson smily?! My eyes are burning. :o :o :o

I can honestly say that if the Red had remained, I would not have renewed my ST and would probably only have attended a handful of games, which would have been around London and just for the piss up with mates on a day out  :bluebird:
