Nobody can tell which managers are going to be successful or not.
If we are struggling come Xmas then let's change, but he's got enough to deal with trying to sort out the mess Ole left without the fans making it worse.
IF he's successful and takes us up it will be the story of the century .
You never know.

Signed a number of players and then hardly played them.
The team played some of the worst football I have seen in 45 years supporting the club.
Kept selecting players who were obviously out of form whilst refusing to give others a chance to show what they can do, even for the last ten or so games when our season was effectively over.
Even after the return to blue the standard of football caused fans to desert in their droves.
I cannot see why so many on here think that Slade has the ability to do things anything different this season with virtually the same squad that proved only good enough for a mid table finish last season. Why would the same squad with the same manager suddenly turn into a team capable of challenging near the top of the table?
I will always support the team on the pitch.
However in my opinion Slade is way out of his depth and one of the worst managers I have seen at the club, right down there with Gould and Durban.
I believe that he will be found out by the middle of September at the latest and if Tan has the balls to sack him we will be back in exactly the same position as last season with another season wasted.

100% agree.
What we need IMO is a young enthusiastic manager who knows the modern game who can inspire passion and belief into what has become a clueless, predictable, passionless squad under Slade.

As the season nears I'm really looking forward to putting all the crap of the past couple of seasons behind and fully concentrate roaring on my team to a successful and enjoyable season .![]()
