People writing him off after a difficult season at City are idiots. There's no doubt he didn't succeed here, but the circumstances were hardly the best, and he wasn't given enough time to see through the project. How many managers have you seen not work out in England, and then go on to be a success somewhere else? Only for them to later return to England and be a success? I think OGS needs a couple more years defining his managerial ability and then return to the big leagues, where I have no doubt he'll be a good manager.

THANK YOU! Admit he underperformed but the circumstances and atmosphere he came into was a vile one and he had no backing of the fans at all. I can tell Ole will be successful, maybe not in England but elsewhere, without the coverage to put him off.

OGS never had the backing of fans and neither did Slade. Because they weren't Malky

You're partly right about the backing, but the majority did. But anyway, he was a clueless manager and some of our home results in the prem under him were awful. He did not have a clue, tinkered with everything, brought in to many players and ended up, and rightly so, given the sack.

I did say he underperformed, what I'm saying is that the atmosphere was never right and it was awful from the get go. Awful time to appoint a manager and the fixtures we had weren't that easy either. Deserved the sack most definitely, at the wrong time though! In the Champ we didn't do too bad and the teams we lost to, all finished in the top 10

He completely change formation every single game, change 5/6 players every single game, put out teams with no desire or direction (these were his players btw), he couldn't even get his squad fit in pre season which for me is an absolute minimum, remeber when malky was given the same budget we walked the league. Whatever he does from now on I hope he's learnt his lessons but he was the worse city manager I've ever seen.
