Looks like he's settle in ok

Another wasted talent who wasn't given a chance :(

Good Luck Tom Adeyemi - Uwe Rosler very good manager

Leeds United midfielder Tom Adeyemi has revealed manager Uwe Rosler’s methods at the club, which involve pressing their opponents with intensity high up the pitch.

The 23-year-old, who is currently in Austria as part of the Whites’ pre-season tour, has opened up on his manager’s demands about the style of football to be played at the club next season.

Speaking to LUTV, he said: “The manager wants us to be playing high intensity, pressing football.”

Adeyemi, who joined the Yorkshire outfit on a season-long loan deal from Cardiff City earlier this month, has talked up the ongoing preparations at his club for the season ahead, and offered a few hints on the Whites’ approach under Rosler.

“That’s something we’ve been working on, particularly which areas to go and press and how to go and press.

Not given a chance? He was injured the majority of last season!

Uwe Rosler a quality manager? He took Wigan down last season!

Adeyemi seems a good athlete, but not very good in possession. I also read a stat stating he didn't make a single block last season, which considering his position of centre midfield, is pathetic. It will be interesting to see how Adeyemi does at Leeds, but I think we currently have better than him and he will not be missed at all, especially when we use the wages we free up from him to bring in this combative, box to box midfield general.

I don't think that style of play will favour someone like Tom. Injuries come easy to him, high intensity just males them more frequent.

So why not give him a proper chance this season? Players are leaving our club shocked at not being given enough time to prove them-self. And first of all Uwe didn't take Wigan down last season - he got sacked in November - season ends in May? Uwe is also the same manager who did a fantastic job at Brentford and worked at the one of the top clubs in Norway for years

Top club in Norway, reminds me of someone else who failed in the English game.

As for giving Adeyemi a chance this season, when your cutting costs you can't really give someone a chance hoping they turn out good when they have done very little the season before to show they are better than those left here. His quality of passing was extremely poor, but he does seem to have a good engine. Out of our central midfielders, IMO he was the weakest we have (on last seasons showing)

I'm glad he's been loaned out but don't think we should have put a future fee in there without seeing how he does this season.

Just goes to show how good the manager is then... Ole has gone after a short period - and Uwe is still there

I don't mind Rosler and he did well at Brentford, but he messed up at Wigan.

Ole was a disaster and we are still paying the price for appointing him. Shame because I thought he was going to be good

He didn't to the best of jobs at Wigan - but he's still at this present time at a good Championship Club - and best of luck to him  I know Uwe very well, I used to play football with his kids, great guy deserves a good job and 100% hope he succeeds  :bluescarf:

I'm not convinced about Slade at all but he's the manager of my Club and so I'll support him, give him a chance and judge him on results his season. This constant dig at him at every opportunity is becoming tiresome.

I'll bet we finish above Leeds this year.

This is how I'm feeling. He's not going anywhere, he did exactly what was asked of him last season, now it's time to see if he can push us on

Finally some sense. I don't post on here as regularly because all I see is constant digs at Slade for no valid reason whatsoever. Like KBK says, it's very tiresome.

The all too few games Adeyemi played he showed plenty of promise and demonstrated he was the type of player we needed tò keep annd develop. Unfortunately he was always slotted into a dire midfield where he had scant support. I'm sure Rosler and Leeds will do very well with Adeyemi in their ranks. Another case of City shooting themselves in the foot.

I think you're right. I'm a bit disappointed we let him go but I'm not confident he could reach his potential due to his injury proneness.

What was his injury record like at Birmingham?

Let's not get carried away here. Adeyami was a decent player but his quality of passing was very poor and there was no way he would have but in the team this season with the return of Dickajoj and Ralls coming into form. The loan was the best thing for him. If he kicks on nicely we can have him back as one of the inform centre midfielders in the Championship.

Really?

Rosler is the 5th Leeds manager inside a calender year.

Massimo Cellino went through 36 managers in 22 years at Cagliara.

What makes you think Cellino is suddenly going to become a convert to stability and continuity?

At the first blip Rosler will be out on his ear - and Tom Adeyemi will be back in a familiar place - unfortunately for him.

Another player leaving us with no good words, it's becoming a habit.

Funny years ago players always spoke highly of us after they had left.
