Councils couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, yet they can organise roadworks 10 months in advance "I don't think so"

It isn't roadworks.

It is the Yorkshire Cycling Event on 30 April.

There will be road closures (like the Tour Of Yorkshire last year), so the match has been moved.

There is a bit more detail/explanation on the Wednesday site than on Cardiff's.

They have also rearranged their home match with Leeds - bringing it forward to a 12.30 kick off. But that isn't because of road closures.

Ridiculous the number of changes made to fixtures. So many are now not at 3 o'clock on Saturdsy. For travelling fans it is simply unfair. It is supposed to be an entertainment commodity. It is the supporters who should be considered first an foremost but deform are. Road closures on a Saturday!!!!! If it's for a cycle race why not change the route? They do have a year to prepare.

Trouble is that the entertainment generates most of the money, so TV takes precedence.

This one is slightly different but even so, if you want the money, play the games as and when needed.
