The Mystery Man

Who is this central midfielder who will be the answer to all our problems? In a squad with so much talent we simply do not need him. We have 4 quality players fighting for the wide areas - Pilkington, Ameobi , Noondand Kennedy and I'd we have Gunnarson or Digachoi holding. We can have Witts and Ralls together in a 5 midfield with Okeefe as back up. As I've said countless times before , we do not need to play 442 or we will be outgunned. We need to play 451. Instead of this central midfielder so many seem to be obsessed with we need a quick forward to push defenders back who cannot afford to play a high line because they are frightened of pace. Get Frazier Campbell back.

I agree with your comment on Campbell. Let's get him back now
No thanks - If we were to spend money, I wouldn't get him back.

Nevermind what players we need, what we need is a manager who has a clue what he's doing!
Sorry Slade is totally out of his depth, and by the time the powers that be realise this it will be another dead rubber of a season for us. We already have a more than capable squad so who / what is this box to box midfielder? We have more midfielders and striking options than most squads, it's just a case of some one with good man management skills and some decent footballing knowledge to draw performances out of them. Case in point Brentford last season!
