Blackburn are rivalling Sheffield Wednesday for former Wigan & Cardiff midfielder Kim Bo-Kyung

Kimbo would love to come back to Cardiff.

I photographed the Wigan-v-Derby game in April and was still processing pictures when Kimbo was leaving the stadium.

Chatted to him for a good 15 minutes. His English is really good now! When he knew I was originally from Cardiff he said he would love to come back.

He's a good player - but unfortunately our club didn't bring the best out of him !

He was a nightmare against us when we played Wigan at their. Totally ran the midfield for them. I never saw that in him when he was with us.

Mason,
I rated Kim Bo highly for the Championship :ayatollah:

Failed in Prem badly.

some players need players around them to be playing well and control the game for them to play their best football. he is a good example of one.

A player with huge talent. Should never have been allowed to leave. Unfortunately not played properly with us.

He is too lightweight for me. A nice and tidy footballer but doesn't suit English football, it is too physical.

I disagree. There are players who will excel in one country and not in another as their styles conflict. Noone has pace so is a different animal, wingers CAN be slight. You wont find many central midfielders in the English game, able to command a game without having a physical side or being strong in stature. The only ones would be those with immense ability to make up for it. Kimbo doesn't come under that bracket.

Craig Noone has done hardly anything for us for ages.

Another talente player that cardiff wasted and they sold too cheaply you watch him rip us apart this season.

To lightweight and didn't do much other than the good spell he at the back of our promotion season.

You always get the feeling that Kim Bo-Kyung was another player who should have developed into something special but for whatever reason did-not.

People say he failed in the Premier League but I can recall that wonderful dribble before setting Aron Gunnarsson up to score the first against Man City and his last minute equalizer vs. Man Utd.

The boy has the talent it just needs a decent coach to bring the best out of him.

I would argue that a professional footballer should be coached to a suitable standard and Kim should have been ready. I don't think the things he was missing could be coached.

Malky did ok with Kim in the Championship, particularly during the arse end of the season when he had the unwonted nous to drop the ineffective Whittingham and team Kim with Mutch. However, Malky was found wanting badly in the Premier when he didnt play to Kim's strengths and played him in the same team as Whittingham ensuring a powder puff midfield. FFS what drugs was the man on? Whittingham, Andrew Taylor and Hudson in the Premiership? A disaster waiting to happen ....and of course it duly came to pass :digging2:
