Wow! This kid looked class. Everything they did came through him and he looks so composed for a youngster. To be honest our midfielders laboured against him and looked amateurish in comparison. He's destined for bigger and better things. I just wish we could snap him up, he would add some real quality to our struggling midfield.
For us today I thought Ameobi, Mason, Manga, Moore, Pilkington and Ralls were the stand out performers. Some others were a tad disappointing but its early days and gaining fitness is the key. A great day out entertained by vociferous Bluebirds fans

Didn't go today, but find it interesting that he would improve our 'struggling midfield' only for you to name 3 midfielders as our stand out players

Stand out performers for us must be read with reference to our low quality starting base. This guy was altogether better than anything we possess!

Fair enough, goes to show there are some excellent players playing in league 1. How did Healey do when he came on?

Yes you're right there are some good players in the lower leagues. I thought Rhys did ok, I'd like to see more of him. To be honest it makes me think I should probably make more of an effort to see the Development squad matches.

I was thinking that at Forest Green seeing some of the younger players playing. Looks like we have a few decent players who should be looking to start breaking through.

Mentioned him on here last season when I went to watch shrews play a couple of times. He is very good. A few inches taller and he would be a prem player I think.
Apparently Wolves are in for him.

He looked class. Made at least twice as many passes as anyone else and not one went astray.
I'd swap him for any two of our midfield, or maybe just Dikgacoi. He's worth two on his current waist measurements.

He was excellent. Sat in back of the front four and ran the game.
Why Slade didnt push on to cut his space is beyond me.

Good point! We might have done better if Slade had come on himself. He could hardly be worse than our incumbent centre midfield.

Slade wouldn't recognize a decent central midfielder if one bit him on the arse.
And even if he did he'd still pick Whittingham and Gunnarrson first.
