Turner To Miss Season Start and out longer than thought

Manager Russell Slade has confirmed that centre half Ben Turner is now set to miss the opening few fixtures of the 2015-16 campaign as he has picked up a third ankle injury of the calendar year.
The issue was picked up during pre season training and speaking to Wales Online today the gaffer confirmed that he is definitely out for a few weeks as the ankle problem he has has required minor surgery.
'It`s bitterly disappointing for Ben. He has had a minor operation and that will keep him out for a few weeks. We are not certain of the exact timescale, but we want him back playing as quickly as possible.'
With plans again disrupted for the player with yet another period of downtime with injury, he'll no doubt be looking forward to getting back on the training pitch over the next few weeks and hopefully getting himself going this year properly to make up for some lost time.
The injury may mean that new signing Semi Ajayi moves more up the pecking list for league action and we might see more of him, because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Bruno Manga, Sean Morrison and Matt Connelly will be ahead of him with Turner now missing once more.

Decent player but feel we have plenty of capable cover available. May be a chance for young semi to get in squad

Have to agree, it's not like without Turner somehow the team reinvents itself as a possession based, pleasing on the eye football team

As long as Slade is our manager, I'm afraid you will still have to put up with hoof ball as you put it
