Just how it is these days unfortunately

Fri Jul 17, 2015 10:16 am

Someone once called the police to report burglars in his shed - police said "sorry, we have no officer available at the moment" so the man calls the police 5 mins later and says that he didn't need anyone to come out any longer regarding the burglary in his shed as he had shot them.
Within minutes armed police, helicopters the lot came & arrested burglars. Then the officer said to the man "thought you said you shot them?" And the man replied "thought you said you had no one available to come out????"
That's just how things work these days

Probably not a true story! But quite amusing. You'd have to be a bit thick not to understand the difference in the prioritisation of the two calls though!

well people vote for stripped back public services they get them. its a fake story but police officers would be diverted from low priority calls to higher.
