Don't like your chances on space changing tactics tho.

Thats the problem. Slade needs to play to his strengths (and the other forwards and midfielders) to get the best out of them. But he seems to want to play them in his strict rigid formation.

Ffs how many players do we have in our squad who need the rest of the team to play to there strengths
Le fondre is played out of position well he should adapt ffs
Whitts is played out of position well he should adapt ffs
Excuses exscuses if they were that good they would adapt not miss chances and disappear in games
How about we leave these two out and bring in two other players to take there place ,I for one would applaud slade if he did ,
It's about time players adapted or shipped out![]()

It can't be all down to management because he was poor in front of goal for both Ole and Slade. Maybe his head has been 'up north' with his family? Maybe the kind of football we played really didn't suit him? Probably both.

It doesn't matter what style of football a team plays if you get a chance you should score but Alf fluffed them last year ,he had a fair crack at it but couldn't take his chance

Maybe but the fact he was having to run himself into the ground every game trying to live off scraps didn't help. By the time he eventually got a chance he was knackered.
